Pegu Club

Shaken Citrusy, Complex

Named after a British social club built in modern-day Myanmar during their imperial era, these clubs were meant to entertain royal officers with familiar drinks and activities. This cocktail was (and continues to be) the perfect marriage of southeastern Asian flavors and gin botanicals.

Ingredients

  • 2 parts Fords Gin
  • .75 parts Orange Curaçao
  • .75 parts Lime Juice
  • 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters

Instructions

  • Shake all ingredients well with ice.
  • Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge.
