Shaken Aromatic, Citrusy

A classic drink that was created during prohibition at the Detroit Athletic Club. As the use of bathtub gin was likely, bold flavors such as Chartreuse and maraschino were employed to help mask the flavor. Fortunately for us, even with a good gin it still tastes magnificent.

Ingredients

  • .75 parts Fords Gin
  • .75 parts Green Chartreuse
  • .75 parts Lime Juice
  • .75 parts Maraschino

Instructions

  • Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass.
  • Garnish with skewered cherry.
