Here is a warm cocktail recipe that will serve entire parties for those who love the flavor or gin and the classic autumn combination of apple and cinnamon. We call it the Spiced Apple & Gin Warmer

Spiced Apple & Gin Warmer

I bottle of Fords Gin
5 Liters of Apple Cider or Cloudy Apple Juice
Juice of 6 limes
Juice of 6 lemons
2 Teaspoons of ground cinnamon
Thumb sized piece of fresh ginger grated and peeled
Fine sugar to taste
In large sauce pan bring apple, lemon and lime juices to simmer over medium heat. Add cinnamon and ginger. Stir continuously and do not allow to boil. Add sugar to taste (you shouldn’t need much as the apple juice brings much of the sweetness but it is likely you’ll need some to balance out the citrus. Last time we made it we used roughly 6 table spoons). Once the concoction is well mixed and hot add the Fords Gin. Return to a hot temperature and ladle into mugs (do not serve boiling). Garnish with a lemon or lime wheel and some grated fresh nutmeg. Enjoy!
We think this drink is great on a cold rainy day and is also a drink we recommend for Thanksgiving.
